I  “Conquering Two Foes-Fear and Doubt”

The only way that we will have victory over these two areas in our lives as women is by using the powerful word of God as our two edged sword.  Shannon uses a practical, yet Biblically sound approach to discuss how doubt and fear come against the Believer, and how we can use the Bible to defeat these two enemies of our souls in every area of our lives. 

II.  “Loving Who You are on the Way to Where You’re Going”

 “Girlfriend Gig”

This retreat is designed to bring joy, laughter and renewal as girlfriends spend their weekend developing their understanding of who they are in Christ, what specific gifts God has given them, and what they can do to become the whole and complete person God has especially designed them to become.   This weekend includes a look at the spiritual gifts that God has designed for us, and a “spiritual gifts inventory” to help women identify their special gifts.

“Me-Different?”

In this special weekend series, the four core personalities are discussed, and women are given questions to define their personality type.  With a Master’s Degree in Counseling, Shannon discusses the Christian aspect of how we are uniquely created, the strengths and weaknesses of each personality type, and how to use them so that we can effectively serve the body of Christ.  It is a fun filled weekend, and one of women’s favorites as they discover and celebrate who they are created to be in Christ. 

“Leave the Baggage Behind”

During this weekend getaway, Shannon discusses the lies that we often believe as women, and the truth that leads to freedom in Christ.  Using baggage as a visual, Shannon demonstrates the eight most common lies that women believe, and the truth that sets us free to walk in the confidence God intends for His daughters.   In the second session, Shannon follows up with the power packed message, “Compelling Confidence.”   In this message, Shannon reveals seven truths that every confident Christian woman will display when she walks in the knowledge of what God’s Word says about her.

 “Are You Talking to ME?”

In this exciting weekend retreat, Shannon reveals Biblical principles for hearing the voice of God, how to exercise the truth of God’s Word in our lives, and what to do when we feel like we can’t hear from Him.  During this weekend getaway, women will learn to recognize the voice of God in their lives and apply His Word to reach the full potential of God’s plan for their lives in each situation they face.
