Shannon’s prayer for every event is that those hurting would be released, those searching would be restored and that all would come to a saving knowledge of His love for them. Based on the number of people who have given their lives to Christ for the first time or re-dedicated their lives during her events, it is clear that her prayer is being answered.
“It is important to me that I am accessible,” says Shannon. “I didn’t get into ministry to be ‘known,’ although God has blessed me with some notoriety. I went into full-time ministry to be used to teach the life-changing Word of God. I invite women to stay in touch with me after they see me at an event because I believe my calling requires availability.”

When you sit and visit with Shannon, it won’t take long for her to make you laugh or to share her excitement about all God is doing in the lives of those who attend her events. “I never thought I would be a speaker, or author, or TV or radio show host! All I ever wanted to do was sing. I am so grateful that His plans are always so much bigger and better than those we can devise.”
